How to Calculate Your VIP Progress

   $40,000 − $18,000 = $22,000 still to wager for Silver.

4. Adjust for sports

   If you bet only on sports, divide by 3: about $7,334 in settled sports bets.

The same method works at any level. A Gold player at 30% towards Platinum I faces a gap of $150,000; 30% of it is $45,000 done and $105,000 left, or about $35,000 in sports bets. Remember that sports wagers count only once the match is settled, so a bet on a five-day Test match moves the bar after the result.
