Stake Esports Betting: CS2, Valorant, Dota 2 and More

Esports has its own section on Stake, with an icon row of sixteen titles, live map scores on every card and streams on many matches. Counter-Strike 2 is even promoted to the Top Sports menu next to cricket and football, and tournaments from the Philippines to Brazil run around the clock, so there is something in play at almost any hour in Pakistan.

How the esports section works

Esports sit apart from traditional sports in the menu, under All Esports, and open with a horizontal icon row. The first icon, All, shows every match — 163 at one point of a normal weekday — and each title icon carries its own count, such as 42 for CS2 or 11 for Dota 2. Below the row, match cards show the game, a Live label with the current map (“3rd Map”, “5th Map”), the tournament name, the series and map scores and the Match Winner – Twoway odds. A “+6” or “+100” at the end is the number of extra markets. Display and Market filters work as in the rest of the sportsbook, and the same bet slip, cash-out and Same Game Multi rules apply.

Titles on offer

  • CS2
  • CS2 Duels
  • Dota 2
  • League of Legends
  • Valorant
  • Mobile Legends
  • King of Glory
  • Arena of Valor
  • Overwatch 2
  • Rainbow Six
  • Crossfire
  • eCricket
  • FIFA
  • FIFA Bots
  • NBA2K
  • Madden

The list covers the three big families of competitive gaming: tactical shooters (CS2, Valorant, Rainbow Six, Crossfire), MOBAs (Dota 2, League of Legends, Mobile Legends, King of Glory, Arena of Valor) and sports simulations (FIFA, NBA2K, Madden, eCricket). PUBG, which is very popular in Pakistan, is not part of the list, so searches for PUBG betting will not find matches here. Mobile titles like Mobile Legends and King of Glory have a strong Asian scene, which means many matches fall in convenient Pakistani evening hours.

CS2 and CS:GO betting

Counter-Strike 2 replaced CS:GO, and every Counter-Strike match is now listed as CS2. It is the largest esports category on the sportsbook and also appears in the Top Sports menu. Matches are usually best-of-one or best-of-three series, and the extra markets follow that structure, with bets on individual maps and rounds on bigger events — one live CS2 match carried more than a hundred markets. A live CS2 card shows the map number and round score, for example a team leading 8–1 on the first map. Round totals react strongly to overtime, so an under bet on a close map can be lost in the final minutes. CS2 Duels is a separate category with one-on-one matches that finish quickly.

Dota 2, League of Legends and Mobile Legends

MOBA matches are played over several maps (games), and the card shows the series score plus the score of the current map. Dota 2 events such as group stages of regional leagues run at the same time as major tournaments, so the list is long even midweek. League of Legends follows a similar pattern, while Mobile Legends — with competitions like the MPL Philippines — is often the most active title in Asian evening hours. A typical price looks like 1.35 against 2.90 in a Dota 2 series: 1,000 PKR on the favourite returns 1,350 PKR. Map-winner and handicap markets help when the favourite is too short; for example, backing the underdog to win at least one map often pays more sensibly than backing them for the whole series.

Valorant and other shooters

Valorant is listed with its own icon and usually offers match winner, map winner and handicap markets on series from regional leagues upward. Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six and Crossfire complete the shooter category. Shooter maps can swing quickly — an economy reset or a single clutch round changes the live odds — so live prices move faster than in MOBAs. If a match has a stream icon, watching a few rounds before betting helps to judge whether a price reflects what is actually happening on the server.

eCricket

eCricket is cricket played as a video game, and it sits in the esports list rather than in the cricket section. It is settled on the game result, so real-world form of the teams it represents means little. This also separates it from the Simulated Reality League found under cricket, which runs computer simulations of real competitions such as a simulated PSL. eCricket matches are short and frequent, which can make them feel like a quick substitute when no real cricket is on.

How to bet on esports

  1. Open All Esports

Use the left menu or the Sports switch, then pick a title from the icon row.

  2. Choose a match

Check the tournament name and the format; “Twoway” means no draw is possible.

  3. Add a selection to the slip

Click the price for the match winner or open the match page for maps and handicaps.

  4. Enter the stake

The slip shows the return; 1,000 PKR at 2.05 returns 2,050 PKR.

  5. Follow the stream

Where a play icon is shown, watch the match on the same page.

A PKR deposit through a mobile wallet starts at 500 PKR, so a first esports bet needs only a small top-up. To follow live maps from a phone, a Stake free download for Android or a home-screen icon on iPhone keeps the bet slip one tap away.

Tips for esports bettors

  • Know the format: best-of-one matches are far more random than best-of-three or best-of-five series.
  • Check rosters: esports teams change players often, and a stand-in can change a match completely.
  • Watch patch changes: a game update can reshuffle which teams and styles are strong.
  • Prefer titles you play: understanding maps and economy makes live prices easier to read.
  • Mind the hour: 24-hour schedules make it easy to bet late at night — set a session limit.

Esports bets earn rakeback and count three times towards VIP levels.

Settlement and voids

Esports follow the general betting rules of the sportsbook. If a match is cancelled, abandoned or a market is left undecided — for example after a team forfeits or technical problems stop play — bets can be voided and settled at odds of 1, which returns the stake. In a multi only the void leg becomes 1.00; in a Same Game Multi a single void selection voids the whole slip. Cash-out is not available on markets without live coverage or while a market is suspended. A bet ID from My Bets is the fastest way to resolve a question with support.

Esports betting FAQ

Which esports titles can be bet on?

The esports section lists Dota 2, CS2, League of Legends, Arena of Valor, CS2 Duels, eCricket, King of Glory, Mobile Legends, NBA2K, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six, Valorant, Crossfire, FIFA Bots, FIFA and Madden.

Is PUBG available on Stake?

PUBG is not among the titles in the esports section. Players looking for battle royale markets have to check the list again when major tournaments start, as titles are added only when there are matches to price.

Can I still bet on CS:GO?

Counter-Strike betting now runs under CS2, which replaced CS:GO. CS2 is also one of the Top Sports in the left menu, and CS2 Duels is listed as a separate one-on-one format.

What is the main esports market?

Most matches show Match Winner – Twoway on the card, meaning there is no draw. The match page adds further markets — from six to more than a hundred depending on the event — such as map-level betting on bigger matches.

Can esports matches be watched live?

Many live esports matches show a play icon on the card, which opens a stream on the match page. The card also shows the current map and score.

Do esports bets count for VIP progress?

Yes. Esports bets are sportsbook bets, so they count three times towards VIP levels and earn rakeback calculated on a 3% theoretical edge.
